What Do I Still Lack?

There is a right and appropriate question you ought to ask:
1) Yourself
2) A man of God and
3) God.
The answer to this question is equally important.
Maybe you are a person who labours and is carries heavy burdens of mistakes, errors, guilt misdeeds(past or present),have you asked this question?
Are you a soul that struggles on the face of the earth without rest whatsoever? Have you asked this question?
It is possible that you are in a position of comfort,in riches and wealth; in one way or the other.Have you deeply considered asking yourself,a sent servant of God or your Maker this vital question: WHAT DO I STILL LACK?
Perhaps, you are a hardened wrongdoer who ‘enjoys’ the wrongdoing so much.Have you thought about your life and end of it?Have you deemed it fit to ask this question: What Do I Still Lack? Or is it your conclusion that you will not change your ways of wrong doing because you are helpless knowing not what to do?
All these may not concern you. Your thought may be “I have an understanding of what doing bad things is.Since I was a youth,I have been diligently observing the laws or commandments of my religion or denomination and Godly parental instructions.Still, the right and appropriate thing to do is for you to ask the question:What do I still lack?
Whatever condition you find yourself, the answer to this vital poser is very relevant to you and your life in general. What then is the answer? The Lord Jesus Himself provides you the answer thus,
“…come, follow me” (Matthew19:21).What brought about this type of reply? It is the love that the Lord Jesus has for mankind.
The Lord does not want anyone to labour with heavy load brought on such by the evil one,the only enemy of humanity, satan.Jesus does not want anybody to struggle without rest.Moreso,He wants those in comfort and are faithful to their religious,denominational/parental rules and regulations to come to perfection.Matthew 11:28 states,
come to me,all you who labour and are heavy laden,I will give you rest.”
If you are dear to yourself, you must love rest for yourself, therefore, answer His call to come and follow Him.
Likewise,if you are in comfort and has fulfilled all commandments,He calls you to come and follow Him that you may be perfect before your GodDon’t feel too big or old. Abraham was rich in everything(Gen.13:2) and was 99years when he was commanded by God when He appeared to him
“I am Almighty God,walk before me and be blameless.” Genesis 17:1
This took place after the duo have walked together for many years.
By this piece, the Lord is revealing Himself to you and commanding you to walk before Him and be blameless. Therefore, hearken unto Him.If you are rich,do not love it more than the one who made you its caretaker.Sell it and give to the poor.Do not be angry at this at all.You shall have heavenly treasures.
May the Lord bless you bountifully and help you.
