Dangerous Ratio For Kingdom Candidates

On April 14,2011,an article titled “Dangerous Ratios” was published on this blog. The title will now be resumed and treated in series as the Lord grants the grace. We trust the Lord will guide us into all understandings and the series will be of great benefits to everyone.
The reference verses are found in Ecclesiastes 7:27-29 and read thus,
‘Behold,this have I found,saith the preacher,counting one by one,
to find out the account:
Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not:one man among a thousand have I found;but a woman among all those have I not found.’ King James Version.
The question now arises:of which place or group is the Preacher is so much concerned that he started to seek and find out? Why is he so keen to be occupied with the search? Why is the ratio so dangerous?
Of which place? The place of concern to the Preacher cannot but be the kingdom of God,the Jerusalen on high! It is the place meant for the ‘few’,’remnant’ and ‘the minority’.
Of which people? The saints, the kingdom candidates or the king addicts. Those who have not forgotten where they come from and which place they are to return to.They are the serious people who are ever home-sick,thinking always of the time to be there.
Why was he so keen about the search? It was because he was ‘kingdom conscious’.He was interested in the qualities and qualifications of those that will make Heaven. He was shocked to find out that for men and women it was 1000:1:0.He knew this because he was also a pilgrim on the journey home.
After studying the behavioral pattern of people of his time,he found out that a very few of them shall be saved.A limited number of people will reach home.He was not among the majority,a reprentative of who the Holy Bible says,
‘The wicked in his proud
countenance does not seek God;
God is in none of his thoughts.’ Psalm 10:4
Instead, his (the Preacher’s) song was always,
‘When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night
watches.’ Psalm 63:6
Generally speaking, majority will always carry the vote.Among mankind, majority, most especially in democracy, will always have their way while the minority may have their say.The ‘say’ of the minority will be swallowed by that of the majority. The Kingdom candidates never follow a multitude (crowd) to do evil’,no matter the number.Thank God,the ‘say’ and deeds of the minority are on records before the throne of mercy of God.He will not fail to save them.
The Lord Jesus Christ never leave us in doubt because He made it abundantly clear to all that everyone should
‘Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction
and there are many (majority) who go by it.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way
which leads to life, and there are few who find it.’ Matthew 7:13-14 New King James Version
The question now arises, have you found the narrow and difficult gate and way that lead to life? Are you a part of the few walking on the way? Do you have any ‘good’ reason why you must agree to be destroyed with 999(nine hundred and ninety-nine) people?
I think there should be none! Therefore, the Lord’s declaration and what the Preacher has found out by his wise research are the same.
It is dangerous to join those who will end up in destruction.1000:1:0 is a dangerous ratio.
Therefore, become a God’s kingdom candidate today, walk in the narrow way that leads to life.
NB:Bible verses quoted are as indicated.
