Every Work

“For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:14.

The quoted verse above speaks volumes and calls for serious meditation that should give rise to genuine questions and sincere answers.

The verse refers to every work. This means no work will be exempted. Going along with this is the fact that everyone’s work is included, irrespective of your status or position. Your work will be scrutinized and judged like any other person’s.

The work to judge is in four categories:
The work was carried out in the open.
The work was performed in secret.
Every good work.
Every evil work.
No work is excluded. Every work will fall into not less than one of the groups. A careful consideration will even show that every work will end up in two of the four. What do I mean?

Good work will either be done in the open or in a secret place. Whether it is known to mankind or not. The Lord sees it. Not only that, an evil work is also carried out in the open or the secret. They will all be judged.

That stands at that. The question now is how is your work as a Pilgrim on the Earth? What will be the end of your work at the end of your journey here? Is it good or evil, whether you do it in the open or not? What will be your rewards?

You are still on the journey. Before it comes to an end, make all necessary changes and amend your ways and doings in the secret and the open. May you enjoy the help of the Holy Spirit to carry out all needed changes in the name of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
